Well, it’s Thursday (not Friday) and I decided to go with just a brief one and definitely a stream of consciousness going through my mind during my journey to work. Again, I’m writing and sending in the morning because it’s the BBQ after school. I’m also learning how to use my travel time wisely!
There is definitely a nip in the air as September comes to an end and I’ve had to turn the light on in my bathroom for the first time this week. My morning DiDi rides have the windows open instead of the a/c and the glorious blue skies we have had recently are nowhere to be seen just yet.
It’s the last day of September and it’s my parents’ 54th wedding anniversary. That’s an impressive length of time and I think the secret to their relationship is that they love each other for who they are rather than focussing on the (many! 😂) things that drive them crazy.
Following a recommendation from a very old friend, I’m now listening to the final episode of the ‘Pieces of Britney’ podcast. As described to me, the dramatisation is definitely questionable but the story really quite shocking and disturbing. Lots to think about, especially as neither of us are, and never have been, Britney fans so it’s a purely human interest angle for us.
No music today because I’m listening to the podcast while writing.
Happy final day of the half term everyone and have a great day.
